May 1, 2008: Coolant Recycling on the Rise

Rising costs of machine coolants has caused more manufacturing firms to explore coolant recycling options.
Universal Separators, the manufacturer of the SmartSkim® coolant recycling systems has noticed a remarkable rise in inquiries and sales of their CoolantLoops. "Over the past 12 months more companies are realizing that coolant recycling programs have mulitple benefits and an extremely short pay back period," commented Mark Kluis, Universal Separators' President and General Manager. "In addition to reducing their coolant purchases by 50-75%, companies also reap the financial windfall of not paying for their contaminated fluids to be hauled away. Safer working conditions are an additional benefit of having machine coolants go through a filtration process."
