Rising costs of machine coolants has caused more manufacturing firms to explore coolant recycling options.

Major Bangalore Heat Treater Places Additional Order

Universal Separators, Inc. is pleased to announce that a large global heat treating company has placed a second order for the SmartSkim V3 Vertical oil separator. The order comes one month after the receipt and installation of their first SmartSkim V3. Both units will be used for their operations in Bangalore, India.

Major Southern California Aerospace Company Receives Shipment of Two Coolant Recycling Units

A major aerospace company received shipment of two SmartSkim CoolantLoop Recycling Systems. The units will be used in the company’s titanium machining operations. In addition to taking receipt of the units, the company’s personnel also received on-site training from Universal Separators.

Universal Separators Launches Small Shop Coolant Recycler

Universal Separators, Inc. announces the release of their new SmartSkim® CL-S300 CoolantLoop Recycling System. "Over the past few years we have received numerous requests from smaller machine shops that are interested in recycling their coolant" commented Mark Kluis, Universal Separator's President and General Manager. "In an effort to meet their needs, we created a system with lower capacity and throughput, but with the same functionalities of our larger systems. The response from customers receiving our initial shipments has been extremely positive," commented Kluis.
Worldwide launch of CL-S300 began on March 1, 2008.
